I grew up in a wonderful home with walls covered with framed images of our family. I knew I was loved, and I beamed with pride when my parent's friends and family would comment on the artwork that mom had placed lovingly on the walls.
I grew up thinking this was the norm. That family should be celebrated, shown off even!
